I was born and raised right here in good ole Louisa County Va., and (I suppose) that makes me your typical `good ole country boy'. (O.K., so maybe not `typical'!) I've been around the country from New York to Florida to California, and a few stops in between, but my heart and home are right here in Louisa, Va. My Dad calls it `God's Country' and the more I get around, and the more I see, I tend to believe him. I'm one of eight. (Yes, I said eight.) I have one older brother, four older sisters, and two younger brothers. Family ties are important to me and something I don't ever feel the need to cut.

As for the guy I'm looking for, well, I'm financially self-sufficient and at this stage of my life, I'm helping to support my folks who are now on a fixed income, so I'm not looking to help support anyone else. (In-other-words, he'd have to be financially self-sufficient as well.) Physically, average to athletic build is what I generally am attracted to. I don't play games and I don't want to get involved with someone who does, or is all wrapped up in drama. I do not find effeminate qualities very attractive, but that's just me. In short......your normal guy who likes being (and acting like) your normal guy.

I'm really pretty flexable. A day at the beach, a day hiking in the mountains, a day at the theme park, dinner and a movie, or just staying in to watch TV or a DVD, it all sounds good to me. What makes the difference is the person I'm sharing it all with.

You don't have to be an adonis, but you do have to be health concious enough to care about your physical appeareance. You don't have to be a briliant, but wise enough to learn from your mistatkes, rather than repeat them. You don't have to be the most generious person in the world, but you should love yourself first and formost (without being egotistical about it) and know how to show your love to those closest to you without reservation.
